Storeperson
Description
A Full-Time Storeperson is required for immediate start. You will be joining a team of specialist providers of technical advice and expertise across pumping, irrigation, filtration and all aspects of water and fluid management.
Pumping Irrigation & Machinery Services (PIMS), a Mareeba-based firm, is a specialist provider of technical advice and expertise across pumping, irrigation, filtration and all aspects of water and fluid management.
Tasks/Responsibilities
As a PIMS Storeperson, you will be be part of a team responsible for the smooth operation of supply chain procedures using an inventory management program used in the business. You will be responsible for receiving, handling and packing of goods. Tasks, Responsibilities and Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Receipting of inward goods.
- Despatching of goods.
- Unloading goods of transport where required.
- Restocking of shelves in the store.
- Customer deliveries.
- Assist Sales Team where required.
Applicant Requirements
- Current Drivers Licence.
- MR & Forklift Licence.
- 2 – 3 years retail or customer service experience (preferably in the pumping and irrigation industry).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to learn.
- Ability and willingess to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, honest, hardworking, conscientious, and well presented.
- Ability to work unsupervised and have exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Strong computer skills with the knowledge of an ERP system highly regarded.
